Salineville Ohio

The subject property was a 2,800 square foot ranch home built in to a side of a hill in Salineville, Ohio. Built in 2004, most of the building was constructed into a hillside to take advantage of natural thermal efficiencies of the earth. The initial radon test exceeded 130.0 pCi/L.
The owner of the property had several radon mitigation companies onsite to estimate the project but all of the companies declined thinking the building was not mitigatable.
A-Z Radon performed a series of diagnostic tests to determine what, if any, mitigation system design would be effective for this home. Using a proprietary design technique A-Z was able to design a system that could create negative pressure under the slab and exhaust the radon safely above the roofline.
